God IS Love

 

There is nothing that I know of that does a better job of communicating about God’s love than a song written, produced and sung by our very own June Murphy…one of the best songs that has ever been written by anyone, at any time…and it is written from God’s perspective…here’s June Murphy to sing…

It’s part of who I am, and it flows from My integrity

I can teach you to love unconditionally

With the power of the Spirit working in you

So when you’ve been betrayed, and even lied to

You can still love others as I do, if you want to…

Love is patient and kind

It does not act unbecomingly

It does not envy or boast

Love forgets a wrong suffered

It is not provoked

And it does not seek its own

 

WHEN I SAY I LOVE YOU

 

Love rejoices in Truth

Not in unrighteousness

It bears and hopes all things

It believes, it endures, it prevails

This kind of love never fails

This is what I say, when I say, “I love you”

When I say, “I love you”

 

Love says it all…the Beatles had it right…“All you need is love.”  And when you think about all of the attributes of God’s essence…love… unconditional love for all creatures…angelic and human…is the one attribute that colors all of the others attributes…if we’re looking…we see God’s love in all of them…

At One O’clock

He loves us as the ONE and ONLY GOD

 

At Two O’clock

He shows His love for us by always telling us the truth…He is veracious

 

At Three O’clock

The three separate and distinct members of the Godhead love us, each with His own brand of lovingkindness…

 

At Four O’clock

God shows how much He loves us by always being fair…He is perfect justice

 

At Five O’clock

God loves us with His righteousness…He is perfect and He makes us perfect

 

At Six O’clock

God loves us by showering us with His knowledge of all things

 

At Seven O’clock

God’s will is always on our side…always FOR us…

 

At Eight O’clock

God shows His love for us by being immutable…He never changes so we can always count on Him…

 

At Nine O’clock

God loves us by never leaving us…He is omnipresent…He is always with us…no matter where we are, He never leaves us alone

 

At Ten O’clock

God loves us with ultimate volition…and since nothing happens without His permission, we always know that He will not let anyone or anything destroy us…

 

At Eleven O’clock

God loves us with His all…especially with all of His power, which is always available to us through prayer…

 

At Twelve O’clock

God loves us by giving us His life…the resurrection life…eternal life…

 

And dead center in the Creator Clock…with God…it always comes back to His love…the most powerful love in the universe is always pointed directly at each one of us.
