WELCOME TO BARAH MINISTRIES

a Christian Church

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in(dwelling) me; and the (Zoe) life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me (unconditionally) and (who) gave Himself up (as a substitute) for me.”

TODAY’S STUDY

Unconditional Love Expresses Gratitude Through Giving

Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called…

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His uniquely born Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. //By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.God commands us to demonstrate His unconditional love by giving ALL of ourselves, even to people we don't think deserve it.

1 CO 16:14
Let all that you do be done in love.

Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.

There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want.It starts with giving.

When I Think About Home

And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums.

A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent.

Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; //for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.

2 CO 9:7
Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, //not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

1 CO 13:13
But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 CO 13:3
And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, //and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body,
what use is that?

Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
