Welcome To

BARAH MINISTRIES

a Christian Church

All Scripture is inspired by God (theoneustos…God breathed) and (is) profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training (instruction) in righteousness;//so that the man of God may be adequate (mature), equipped (thoroughly furnished) for every good work.

TODAY’S STUDY

If You Miss The Person, You Miss Everything

The one who does not love (unconditionally) does not know God, for God is (unconditional) love.Barah Ministries exist to create an environment where every member reflects the Person and the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

“(The Lord Jesus Christ says…) Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.”

“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

“And not many days later, the younger son (the prodigal) gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.”

“But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger!”

‘I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight…’”

“I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men.’”

“So he (the prodigal son) got up and came to his father. But while he (the prodigal son) was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.

Romans, Chapter 1, Verses 8 to 15
Prayer for the Purpose of Paul’s Ministry
First, I thank my God (the Father in prayer) through Jesus Christ(’s name) for you all (believers in Rome), because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world (all over the Roman Empire).

For God (the Father), whom I (Paul) serve in my (human) spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you (believers in Rome…in intercessory prayer)…

…always in my prayers making request (in petition for myself as well), if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to (visit) you.

For I (Paul) long to see you (believers in Rome) so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established…

…that is, that I (Paul) may be encouraged together with you while among you, (as) each of us (is encouraged) by the other’s faith, both yours (encouraging me) and mine (encouraging you).

I do not want you to be unaware, brethren (believers in Rome), that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far…even though I wanted to come) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also, even as (I obtain fruit) among the rest of the Gentiles.

I (Paul) am under obligation both to Greeks (people who speak Greek) and to barbarians (people who don’t speak Greek), both to the wise (believers in Christ) and to the foolish (unbelievers).

So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel (as a minster) to you also who are in Rome.

After that He (the Lord Jesus Christ) went out and noticed a tax collector named Levi (Matthew) sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, “Follow Me.”

And he (Matthew) left everything behind, and got up and began to follow Him (the Lord Jesus Christ).

And Levi gave a big reception for Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) in his house; and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and other people who were reclining at the table with them.

The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners (prostitutes)?”

And Jesus answered and said to them, “It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick.”

The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband;’//for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.”

But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?”

CLOSING SONG
You Own Me

For I am confident of this very thing, that He (God the Father) who began a (divine) good work in (the creation of) you will (keep on) perfect(ing) it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Do not fret because of evildoers, Be not envious toward wrongdoers.//For they will wither quickly like the grass And fade like the green herb.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard (garrison) your hearts and your minds (for those of you) in (union with) Christ Jesus.

CLOSING PRAYER
Let us pray…
