About Barah Ministries
Barah Ministries was started in June of 1999 as a Christian Bible Study allowing Pastor Rory Clark to teach his sons, Zachary and Elliott, bible doctrine in a face-to-face setting. Over the years God provided hearers who are curious about the Word of God the chance to learn from this ministry. Nine years later, in 2008, Barah Ministries became a Christian Church with an ordained pastor and an internet presence, ready to disseminate bible doctrine to a lost and dying world.
Face to face bible study is conducted once a week, on Sundays from 9:00am - 11:15am.
Our first location was a home in Gilbert, AZ. Our second location was American Legion Post 91 in Chandler, AZ. Our third was at the Brookline College (formerly the International Institute of America) in Mesa, AZ. Our fourth and current location is at the Holiday Inn in Mesa, AZ.
Barah is a Hebrew word. It means to produce out of nothing...to call into being some material thing without the assistance of existing material...the materialization of a thought of God...the Word of God going forth in the command of His desire. We use it as a reference to God’s creation work with the soul...
And God created [barah] (the soul of) man(kind) in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. GEN 1:27
By studying bible doctrine daily, we are allowing God to make something of the nothingness of our human lives...

Our objective as a Christian Church is to accurately represent the person, the work, the character, and the nature of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We do that by...
- Evangelizing to unbelievers, providing the accurate Gospel Message, the Good News about Jesus Christ’s salvation work at the Cross.
- Teaching bible doctrine accurately using the I-C-E method of teaching...isagogics, categories and exegesis.
- Conducting missionary activity, raising pastors and independent self sustaining churches throughout the world as God provides the opportunity.
Our aim is to make the Word of God fun to learn and easy to remember, so you can join God’s team and learn all about Him.
Anyone who wishes to receive bible teaching or materials from this ministry may do so free of charge or obligation. God provides bible doctrine. We wish to reflect His grace. The ministry is supported by the grace gifts of believers in Christ who are motivated to provide because of their spiritual advance as they study the Word of God.
