The Wrong Side of a Barrier

Jesus Christ took your place on the cross.

In your condemned state at birth, you were sentenced
by God, in eternity past, to the lake of fire, because your future personal sins of disobedience and your sin nature made you unable to have fellowship with a perfect God.

Because Jesus Christ was judged for you, the door of salvation is wide open. You can walk through that door right now, right where you sit.

How do you walk through the door of salvation?

By simply believing in Jesus Christ.

In other words, eternal life is a potential which your own soul can choose right now.

In your soul is a non-meritorious system of perception called faith…and a non-meritorious choice called believing.

In a non-meritorious system, the object of your faith and the object of your believing is given merit.

For eternal salvation, the object of your faith and your believing is Jesus Christ.

...whoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ) shall never perish, but have eternal life." JOH 3:16

Faith plus NOTHING equals salvation.

Faith alone in Christ alone is the ticket to eternal life.

Once you have salvation you cannot lose it.

And I give eternal life to them (believers), and they (believers) shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them (believers) out of My hand. JOH 10:28

Salvation is a guarantee directly from God!

You can be saved once, for all time.

How do you become saved?

You have privacy.

Privacy means freedom.

Freedom means the option of expressing your faith in Jesus Christ for eternal life.

If you’ve been exposed to religion, you’ve been taught that if you are "basically a good person" or if you do some kind of work, like ‘getting baptized,’ or ‘inviting Christ into your heart’ you’ll help God save you.

There are no "works" of ANY KIND necessary for salvation.

In fact, anything you add to faith as a condition for salvation means salvation is denied.

Nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified (pronounced as saved by being given God’s Righteousness +R) by the works of the Law but through faith (alone) in Christ Jesus (alone);

…even we (who) have believed in Christ Jesus (know) we are justified by faith (alone) in (Jesus) Christ (alone), and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh (man or woman) will
be justified. GAL 2:16

…reforms or vows necessary
…changes of life required
…feeling sorry for your sins
…joining the churches
…running to the mission fields
…major financial contributions
…psychological hoops
…gimmicks

…for salvation

Only five little words separate you from heaven.

"Father, I believe in Christ."

When you have that five word conversation with God the Father, it is the moment of eternal life for you.

Rejecting Jesus Christ sends you to the “Lake of Fire”

"Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.'" MAT 25:41

You can spend eternity in the lake of fire, or you can spend eternity in relationship with the one and only eternal God, the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
